Often times unexpected occurrences cause severe cash flow issues and liquidation becomes necessary. Gemological Appraisal Association offers extensive expertise in liquidation cases. Our approach is comprised of two primary phases. First the valuation phase, where our team of Graduate Gemologists and accountants perform an in-depth physical gemological inspection of the most valuable items in house or the entire inventory if needed. During this phase we analyze internal control of inventory and assess items for style, quality, value and saleability. We also analyze the inventory on memo and review memo agreements, contracts, charge backs and cost-to-memo pricing for possible loss projection.

During the second phase, Gemological Appraisal Association, works to liquidate the assets, collect outstanding monies owed to the company and recoup as much monetary value of the inventory as possible. Our goal is to complete the valuation and liquidation efficiently and with as much profit as possible so that a company is able to pay outstanding debts and absolve responsibilities to creditors as soon as possible.
